As I Remember

As I remember,
Your big blue eyes,
That happy smiling face,
Where we would lie on the bed
And talk for hours
About things gone by.
As I remember that moment
When I made you mad,
I would squint and squirm
While the sun shone brightly in my eyes.
And I danced like a little worm
But you hugged me anyway,
And as I remember
You used to say
I love you more everyday.
