Mirrors

The pain of one can be great and untold.
To feel as if your world has been shattered like a mirror.
Each part of you lies on the ground,
Jagged and Sharp.
Fearful to pick up the pieces as you may just get hurt again,
As they will all fall back to the ground.
But as you look down to those dreadful pieces,
You see yourself in everyone,
Seeing things you never saw.
And as you continue to gaze at your before you,
Those small little pieces come back together,
Forming the mirror once again.
Seeing yourself standing tall and forgetting of what had brought you to your knees,
You can only imagine of what will once more shatter your mirror.
