The Cherry On The Bun
The cherry on the bun
Hey, I always take a moment, to savour whats to come
Don't ever grab the cherry before you taste the bun
You can savour perfect english, or inperfect pretty prose
Or grab a baggy handful of both at once I now suppose
But words pour deep from those who sleep twixt what we see today
And what to one or anyone must look like silly tapestry
All words tangled or near mangled munched and crunched like dark green goo
With simplicity, electricity forms from words like 'me' 'I' and 'you'
Simple pleasures, no half measures, grab life, grab ...
