Jackie Cevering Poems

A bloody colored wedding dress
with a veil of dark and brown
a matching tuxedo lay next to her
but no two wedding bands are found.
...

I was walking through the grave yard
and the wierdest thing came to mind
I wonderd for as many head stones i'd past
maybe one of the old ones has been mine.
...

One day i'll say good bye to those i've always known
the ones that were close and loved will never be alone.

I'll be there with them not only in heart but soul
and i'll give them the strength of living
...

While walking through the mausoleum
acold and bitter frost
came to mind a chilling seen
of so many loved one's lost.
...

Caution as I walk alone
in the grave yard near my home
fog covering everything
and snow's on every stone.

Til Death Do Us Part Together

A bloody colored wedding dress
with a veil of dark and brown
a matching tuxedo lay next to her
but no two wedding bands are found.

The two well known high school lovers
were violently tossed about
one landing in a creek near by
the other fatally smashing to the ground.

The night air brought on a smell of death
as paramedics and police arrived
the next thing they all were witnessed to
It's like the two young kids had survived.

They all wrote in their soul report
of the accident they were all called to
that as watching while the car in flames
the two lovers walked harmlessly right through.
