Sitting, dreaming of her love I may,
We sit apart, wondering “could it be? ”
As I peer across on Lover’s Day,
I smile, pondering why she noticed me.

Bearing in mind the odds of rejection,
I search for substance to attain her trust.
Standing up to advance in her direction,
I find the asset-it’s courage! A must.

While her gaze showed strength, yet pure serenity,
I managed to convey my shy love at first sight.
Her reply…a kiss, to aid timidity,
Gave me belief that she could be Miss Right.

Love can give trust to those who embrace,
