How Did We Come To The End Of The Line?

We started off good, everything was going fine,
I don’t know how we came to the end of the line.
When my dreams come true, the one I want Is you,
It took me this long, to finally attempt at being strong.
Im filling up my time, I’m telling myself I’m fine,
but all the things that I do, just relate back to you.

I wanna hold you tight, kiss you, love you,
tell you everything is gonna be alright.
I wanna see your smile, its something I ain’t seen in a while.
I know I made you cry, but I swear I never told you a lie.
I wanna wipe away your tears,
together we could of faced our fears.
I done everything for you,
made a couple mistakes and we were through.
Im sitting here writing these rhymes,
reminiscing on the good times.

My body, my mind, its way past shattered.
My soul, my heart its way beyond battered.
If you don’t want me, then help me set you free.
Its easy for you, to open up your heart,
let someone else in, tell them you’ll never part.
It ain’t easy for me, cos I cared for you deeply.
What I had for you was true love,
tell me if it weren’t meant to be,
why does your hand fit mine like a glove so perfectly?
