Jahangir Manzar

Jahangir Manzar Poems

Peace and sorrow
Are my nappy friends.
It is the primitive tale,
There are of my friends,
...

It's all pure,
Lest thou think it alloyed.
I have brought it with my all beings-
The compelled forehead handed me;
...

I am too little and night too long!
The night is spent burning myself,
One who burns oneself;
Bears the others pain,
...

We are born-poor!
Whole world is ours.
We are here today.
There tomorrow.

Peace And Sorrow

Peace and sorrow
Are my nappy friends.
It is the primitive tale,
There are of my friends,
Sometimes gave me tears!
Sometimes smiles on my face!
Sometimes spread flowers,
In my path!
And sometimes threatened me,
Of the forthcoming autumn!
Sometimes my goal seemed
Under my feet!
Restlessness never ends,
Sometimes dried boughs,
Seemed to be giving fruits!
Green boughs seemed to be dried!
But I never,
Complained,
Whatever I felt.
I watered the Friendship plant,
With my dreams blood
Under the shade of peace and sorrow!
Manzar spent his life,
With smiling face
That's why the people say
After my death
"Manzar hath followed
The tradition.
