Jaime Pender Biography

It is difficult to write about myself, even though I express my thoughts and feelings in my poetry. I began writing around age 11. It was an outlet that, at the time, I did not realize how important it would become to me. Writing has been my refuge, my safe place, a place I could go anywhere to escape. I plan to write a book, somewhat of an autobiography. I'm not sure that anyone, but the people closest to me will read, but still is something that I will do. It will be dedicated to my children, in hopes that they can gain some knowledge of their mother as a girl, a woman, and what its was like for me to grow in to the person that they know as their mother.)
