James Berth Poems

My heart once was broken, it was destroyed and inaccessible.
Filled with holes repaired with chains and a lock, secluded from the world.
But
when you laid your head on my shoulder, you opened the lock and broke the chains.
...

if we were colorblind and not be abel to see different shapes...
then we might not see the difference between an orange and a lemon
the one rond, the other oval.
Both with an hard shell
...

My love to you is just simple
it's like a dog barking to a cat
it's like alcohol intoxicating my blood
it's like rain falling out of the sky

My Heart

My heart once was broken, it was destroyed and inaccessible.
Filled with holes repaired with chains and a lock, secluded from the world.
But
when you laid your head on my shoulder, you opened the lock and broke the chains.
I did feel more than just your head lying on my shoulder. I felt the blood pumping through my vines, i felt my heart working again..
