I Want To Be A Firework

I want to be a firework
in your body
exploding in blues and greens
bright yellow sparks
across the nightsky of your soul.

I want to be the wind
over your sea
and make waves
on your breath
and in your voice.

I want to be the summer
and scent your hair with lilac-
honeysweet air
bringing life
waking your skin

I want to be the night rain
by your window
cosying you with a downpour
making puddles
for your heart to splash in.
