Honey Melon

I drink round at the lid
As September peeks a weary eye
At my indecency barely hid
You buy my tie

I guess it makes me look so formal
If the hedgehog hatched his shadow
A business tie wouldn't hurt
Until I met my maker

He's a solemn maker
With honey melon eyes
From all the chaos
That churns to a satisfactory pulse

The loveless letters sent perilously back and forth
Are churning the iron blue seas of the north
With what they hold inside few eyes gaze upon
But you have known all along

Alabaster panels on the walls of my little cage
I must admit it's odd to see you here, in fact it's rather strange
