Why People Do Not Do Things

Might have been out of pure obstinence
Other reasons making absolutely no sense
By some poets, they did not fully accept
Felt all of your poetry writing was inept.

When they heard poetry style you did use,
To hear it their each mind would refuse
Were thoughts that you had held against
Them and result was their becoming incensed.

Your bad habits in poems were displayed
Disappointing others and they became dismayed
Or maybe it was for me no one really cares
Due to all of my poems being better than theirs.

Then there are those who had a change of heart
Accepted you even though upsetting the cart
But am so sad that others I may often annoy
When reading own poems they will enjoy.

Ironically, other items I must have to admit
Why don't our each difference we try to split
Never have to worry with minds open wide
When we will surely know God is on our side.

If surface dislikes moisture it will repel
And if we are against something do rebel
But if our problems to God are being told
Takes us for ride so learn how to grab hold.
