Song Of The Dew

This is a song, a song of the Dew,
I have a story, none heard but a few.

I fell onto a rose, an appealing one,
Never had i been, with such joy and fun.

One fine day, i took a closer look,
Never had she the rose, been such harsh.

How could a dew but cry, i just shook
And fell a mighty fall, to the great big bush,
and then did I find, what seems isnt the same
Rose had it thorns, its such a shame.

As I feel for the caressing grass, which took me,
Fondled me, and nursed me shaded, let me be
who I was. Not with the sun could i change,
As long as I had my friend my shade.

My mother, the Earth, cuddled me inside
Never did i change for the want of Rose.
I am me, I am free, I bid Goodbye..
