I think it would be better if I died

Everyone satisfied knowing
I held out to the bitter end

Would Be Better

I think it would be better if I died
Perhaps I'd be happier then
Everyone satisfied knowing
I held out to the bitter end

Maybe they cannot see that I'm
The only one not satisfied
Because I'm the only one unhappy
In this state until I die

It would be better if I died
I know I'd be happier then
They would be sad, but in my going
My life could begin again

I'm not afraid of dying to live
And everyone satisfied
It's funny they would be sadder
If I lived than if I died.
