She Sleeps In Silence

She sleeps in silence
In the cool night air
A soft frown on her face
As the creatures creep at night
Looking for her in the trees.

Yet she sleeps on,
Undisturbed, in her clearing.

The dawn shines red and vivid
And she awakes, and rises.
Wild and serious,
She takes up the sword.
