The Colloquy Of Heart And Mind

Dear Mind,
If I may have a word with you,
I feel you've thought yourself into,
And believed in things that were not true,
On your journey far from home...

When you were birthed, you had the right,
To leave your nest by taking flight,
Unto the wilderness of night,
I knew you didn't know this...

You embraced the world, but even though,
You were deceived, I watched you grow,
There was no way to let you know,
Until you thought of love,

You thought of science, you thought of stars,
Confined by such, these were your bars,
Though time can heal external scars,
My patience wait for thee...

Exhausted, I knew you'd return,
For nothing stops eternal yearn,
You are my light, do you discern?
I cannot see without you...

I am the Heart of hearts, you see?
Prime Creator of all that be,
Remember you originality?
We have always been but one...
And yes you may come home.
