We danced drunk that night
An awkward dance for our height!
I just held her close real tight
We barely moved a step or two
...

She danced that night in circles round
At her brother's wedding,
And friends from out of town
I stood there watching from the edge
...

At the dorm
back from windy roads
Endless lands
And waters icy cold
...

Like the tide you come to me
Only to go back to your depths
Leaving me a fool
...

7.

And so they say it is your roots
and you ought to know where you come from
Why I wondered in vain
And years later I now realize
...

8.

What is it that makes you long;
for the wild?
To belong to the wild
And then I realised in my travels
...

Away from her I know
How miserable I feel
How this heart aches
for another glimpse
...

If only time and distance
would vanish
My thoughts obsessed
My mind in turmoil
...

Outside my door
the wind lashes
and thunder roars
the sight of monsoon
...

I decided to make you mine
To say whats been
until now unsaid
But I don't! Why?
...

Should I tell her now
and be at peace with my mind
for there is nothing to lose
save only her
...

I sit here musing
from my one room window
hoping it would rain
making my travel plans
...

Happy Drunk And Dancing Slow

We danced drunk that night
An awkward dance for our height!
I just held her close real tight
We barely moved a step or two
And when I looked down upon her face
I knew I wanted to kiss those lips
I dint want to let her go
Happy drunk and dancing slow
