jayaraman balasubramaniam Biography

Mr. B Jayaraman, graduated from St.Joseph’s college, Tiruchirapalli and during his tenure there, was selected to represent Tamil Nadu in ‘Army Attachment Camp’ at Ahmednagar. His Tamil poems have been published in a poetic journal from Erode. During his school days, he bagged the first prize in ‘On the spot Tamil Poetry Competition’ conducted by the PSG group, Coimbatore. His Hindi poem bagged the second prize in an in-house competition. As a lover of tourism, he has travelled to most of the important places in India and likes Ajmer in Rajasthan where he worked for five years. His poems were published in “Efflorescence” of Chennai Poets Circle, Chennai, ‘Poets International’ from Bangalore and ‘The 15th India Poetry Festival 2011- Souvenir’ published by Annamalai University. Recently he retired from Indian Bank as Inspector of Branches, Chennai. At present, he is the Treasurer of ‘Chennai Poets Circle’, Chennai.)
