Cocaine

This composition had its origins in expanding a short rhyme my dad made up after we saw a truck with the words 'Smoke crack' spraypainted on it.

You smoke cocaine,
Thinking it will ease the pain
But yet, it is in vain
For in the end, all it does is destroy your little brain
And then, long after you are in the grave, the memory of you forever bears the stain
Of the fact that you were a person who was addicted to cocaine.
Is that really what you want to be remembered for?
