Hand me downs and shinny eyes peer across the room
Holding an old coat that time has left behind
A beautiful old coat her grandmother left for her
To protect her from the winters cold and snow.

I heard the cries of love and pain today
echoing thru the halls and chambers of my mind.

Quite walks thru passages of time
as the holey one whispers the names written on the wall
and the voices of angels sing as he touches the cold stone
of ages inside the marbled hall.

a man of many miles
look ahead and see the signs
in every foot print he's left behind.
