Listless Bear
A wooded knoll adorn with fern and dross,
a cave for the bear to lay,
here in his dismay,
O'r things that might of been,
trails he may have seen,
words left unspoken,
Here he dream and toils,
forgetting all this life's spoils,
fretting the daylight,
Forgetting what is and was in sigh,
even though his love is nigh,
he ponders his worth,
Understanding to the world he owes,
a debt to not be repaid,
or left in full its due.
What is it he is to do,
for he is at a loss to purpose,
he is at a loss to repay for any sake.
A bear laid in the cave,
seeing life slip by,
seeing in sorrow nothing for his path will change.
So he waits for purpose,
waits for his time,
waits for a broken body to be new.....
love it my friend, you identify so much and unload your heart
