Oh God

you made this world too great and complicated
for simple souls like us
we cannot understand the reason
for this vast variety
in your grand design for life
its beyond our narrow sensibilities

why didn’t you use a common mould
a single colour
for all humanity
a standard grid
to portion territories

are you against equality
why this mess of hierarchies

now there are some who have
and some who don' t
and some who have and still want more
and same have more and couldn’t care less
beyond their selfish selves

and we see in the eyes of our fellow human beings
suspicion and hate and greed
and deprivation of basic need

and we've fragmented further
your wonderful variety
we've even torn you apart
and scattered your pieces

you no longer exist .
within our hearts
