do you see a girl or the world that that is in her eyes?
do you see the excitment, the hopes, the dreams?

love is knowing everyday that you found someone that you cherish
someone you care for
someone who is there

staring out of the rain with a heavy heart
it's the end of the world in my mind
then your voice pulls me back like a wake up call
i've been looking for the answer

a fight for life as cars drove over my body
screaming for someone to help me
people see but just walk on by my side
as i see my life flash before my eyes

Today I went to the store
In my surpise, it didnt go so well,
First thing i did was run into the door

i am a 17 years old with a lot of soul, desire, and thought. i love to write poetry. i dont want to be famous. i just want my voice to be heard. i am born in las Vegas, but my hometown is Newberg. i felt more like me then i have any other place in the world so that is my hometown. please take a chance to read my poetry.)

when i see your face
i wonder what is under the surface
when i see your eyes shine brighter than the sun
i wonder why you picked me
i wonder why someone like you would pick a loser like me
you say i'm hot, you say i'm sexy
but all i see is an ugly little girl that was just lucky
when i feel your lips on mine
my heart races, and my body shakes
i can't believe that i waited this long to feel like this
when i am with you, it seems like the whole world is gone
when you sing, you have the voice of an angel
when i'm with you, time flies
i love you so much, and you say you love me
maybe we are meant to be
i dont know but i can say that i love you and adore you
and i hope you do too
because when you smile, you glow like the moon
when i laugh, you're laughing too
