Wishing Tree

For luck, you seek a rainbow,
For courage, go find the Dutch,
But if a wish is what you want
Then just, look up!

You can't see them in the daytime,
Though they never disappear,
At night they shine and twinkle,
It's the stars you see so clear.

I wished upon a star one night
& today that dream came true,
I walked down St. Albans aisle,
With my bridesmaids dressed in blue

The vicar welcomed one and all,
On this happy joyous day,
We sang the hymns and repeated his words,
Though not the one obey!

‘I now pronounce you Husband and Wife',
Words I never thought I'd hear,
We turned and kissed, hand in hand,
& everybody cheered!

Now at The Grand, all wined and dined,
Its time to start the party!
The stars are out, so now's your turn
To wish upon our Star Tree!
