i look deep into your eyes
your no longer there
the one i love where my heart lies

i thought i was going to see the world with you
we talked about it while sitting in our perfect spot
it was beautiful just sitting there with you
we talked about watching the sunset

the world keeps spinning round and round
but my feet stay planted on the ground
i try to walk away from all the memories of you
but every time i do i picture only us two

The Perfect Place
Perfect Place
i look deep into your eyes
your no longer there
the one i love where my heart lies
my heart lies with yours where i thought was a perfect place
but as i soon realized there is no perfect place for my heart
i have to keep it to myself
i must keep it safe
for it can get hurt very easily
its been hurt too many times for me to count
for all the boys that have hurt me

thank you for teaching me how to keep my heart safe.
