There is no sense to
A mess of jambled feelings,
A barrier to idealistic situations,
A crushing of stability

This murky day,
A dreadful day,
One of mist and gloom,
Horror and doom.

I stumbled upon this mirror,
I gazed into its depths,
The image inside confused me,
It danced about illogically.

Sadness is the opposite of happiness,
it's the opposite of feeling free,
It's the opposite of joy,
It's the thing that's taking over me.

So here's to the joy of Christmas,
Here’s to the innocence of youth,
To hope, to love, to the guidance of truth,
To Santa Clause and his merry elves

In the beginning there was darkness,
No sense to the surrounding mist of confusion,
There was no purpose to existence,
Only hope for the existence of purpose.

Time is still;
Ever frozen for eternity’s sake.
A snapshot of pure magic,
Ever stubborn in its grasp to contain emotion.

Spare me from your deceptive ways,
Your habits have placed me in a craze,
My heart has cooled from firey blaze,
No longer a victim of your gaze.

If for our thoughts on trial we all went,
I do not hesitate one bit to believe,
Every person, from a lady to a gent,
The death penalty they would certainly receive.
