Jeremy Limn Poems

I had suitcases
filled with poems
hoping to change the
shape of liberty bludgeoned
...

a frosted summer
your moonbeam
feverish smile
entraps me in
...

"I'm waiting at the door
with the dying roses
singing, 'If I
could turn back time'
...

A woman is dancing, bathing in
blue roses, she is whimsical,
greater than any day, beauty
coursing through her veins
...

I remember Gilgandra
air, and Dubbo moonlight
glazed by Mutawintji
sights
...

black sun
tenebrous sand dunes
coursing and casting
the virility of love

Liberty

I had suitcases
filled with poems
hoping to change the
shape of liberty bludgeoned
by unheard hearts
I saw an angel
and she was
deathless and
I was breathless
the sun never left
my suitcase her image
smothered in the poems
I left in that brim hat
and where heaven
doesn't exist the
the eyeless didn't
dance I was
he who had faith
in love
