Novelist and poet Jeroen Theunissen (b.1977) made his debut in 2004 with ‘The Invisible One’. The Detours was shortlisted for the Libris Literature Prize. Theunissen also published three poetry collections: ‘Longing for Home’, ‘It is like this’ and ‘Here you do live’.
Jeroen Theunissen was born in Ghent, The Netherlands, in 1977. He studied German language and literature. In addition to being a writer, he is a lecturer in cultural history at the RITCS department of the Erasmushogeschool. ''Jouw huid'' ('Your skin') is his latest book - published in 2018.
