This is only the outlook through my eyes.

On Second Thought

That man drowned himself at sea,
while that one there went for a fall,
and he drove himself into a brick wall,
but saddest was she who hung herself from a tree.

Individuals ending themselves in torment,
taking matters into their own hands prematurely,
to these people death is a Heaven sent,
as they are just as sad and depressed as can be.

I myself have always suffered from depression,
and I won't lie I've contemplated suicide,
most won't understand but this is a hard confession,
it's a secret most people try to hide.

I felt like I didn't have a choice,
but then I began to think again,
and I pictured my Mother's grieving voice,
I realized there was no way I could commit this sin.

So for those who think your losing wars been fought,
that all your options have been sold and bought,
just please, oh please, give it a second thought.
