Self Esteem

She cried into her pillow
late at night
She fought with herself. She fought a tough fight.
Her parents had tried all that they could.
But still, nobody understood.
She had pilled up all of her emotions
Like a big brick wall.
A wall, she hoped would someday fall.
But still the girl cried and cried.
And still her parents tried and tried.
Even her friends started to worry.
That their friendship was slipping away in a hurry.
The girl lost everything.
Even herself.
For something that she could've gotten some help.
The girl later realized what she truly lost.
Someone's love, that meant a big cost.
The girl's big brick wall finally fell.
And the girl had started to feel pretty well.
It wasnt about her own problems in the end.
It was about being a good daughter, and being a good friend.
Everyone has problems, some that can't be changed.
Most of us just need some time for our self esteem to be regained!
