Jessica Hastings Poems

How you reach out
To the day
When you finally can come home
...

The girl who used to look
in every mirror, window, glass...
to find a reflection of herself
to see if she still looked good
...

The girl who used to look
in every mirror, window, glass...
to find a reflection of herself
to see if she still looked good
...

Isn't it awful
how the boy
who claims he still loves you
never loved you at all
...

It's 2 A.M.
I cover myself up
in my tears
I miss you so.
...

While she walked outside
already grabbing her lighter
just to smoke a cigarette
or two

Again this feeling, the damned lonely days
I've forgotten it but it's back now
I wish i could say okay, I'll change, I'll make it change
But I can't, I can't move
...

Hello sadness
where have you been
I thought I lost you
my very good friend
...

One song
it can take you back to times
where you had
lovely friends

Jessica Hastings Biography

I am a fan of the stars, the moonlight, the nights that you won't forget. And i try to write poems about it but i always seem to write poems that are (a little) depressing. I'm sorry if you don't like them. For me, this is a way to express my feelings and to see what reactions I get. Not to please anyone. If i'm having inspiration i'll totally write that poem about the stars and such because I'm thinking about it for a long time haha. Have fun on my page i hope you won't be dissapointed.. 'They tried to fix me but they didn't know how miserable I am.')

Home Isn'T Home Anymore

How you reach out
To the day
When you finally can come home

The day before your return
Saying goodbye
You could handle the world
You are happy

The night before your return
You lie in bed
Feeling miserable
You understand

You understand
Your home isn't home anymore
You don't feel happy
At the place they call home

You don't look forward
Because this place called home
Makes you want to stay away
As long as possible

This place called home
Makes you sick

Your lovely home
Has turned in to a place
Where all your demons
Rest
