Err tied man of God,
What ask you, what need you?

Err tied man of God,
Look over you, look under you.

A measureless open spreads wide,
An endless green stables your feet.
A circle leads you to rain and drought,
Makes you run unto flower, stop at weed.

The codes you adher, I didn't make;
The maze you enter, I didn't see.
Look there on the field rolls a bug,
Upon him I roll, simply.

What joy to satiate senses by drinking,
Ambrosia churned in the cup of Meera.
What pleasure to listen to the clinking,
Of the voices of numerous fakira.

What bliss to love. Then intoxicate heaven
Hurling unselfish prayers to me.
What binds you to unfulfilment I wonder;
Why lines you draw on my land free?

What sleep you know, nowhere to find.
Sweat brings you needful I assure.
Still you whine, for you want more,
And your want a festering sore.

You question my answers.
You are deaf to my voice.
What ask you, what need you?
In my abundance, why can't you rejoice?

Look there chirps my wonder at dawn,
And there sets my hue at twilight.
There buds a cry, there falls a silence.
Celebrates all, but you fret with plight.

Look there awaits a day for you to adore,
A shelter for you to feel secure.
A lush under, a gleaming over,
Wreathing breaths, construing pure.

Err tied man of God.
What ask you, what need you?

More?
Still more?
Ever more?
Ah!
