Missing You
Surrounded by people,
friends and strangers alike
listening to music
smiling, joking, laughing
I find myself looking up to the sky
glancing at my glass
sighing under my breath
missing you
The lyrics - all about you
My smiles - every one partly yours
The warmth inside - your existence
tingling skin, empty aching arms
restless mind and everseeking heart!
It's you I'm aching for
your smile my eyes seek
you and yours I wish to give meaning
instead of all this jiving around
So here I sit and write my longing
my words like a foal learnind to stand up
let alone run wild over the hills
trying to express these newborn feelings
of marvelously, happily, wholeheartedly
