Caught In The Cobweb
Under a palm tree.
I took off my clothes.
Full of joy, I thought I was finally free.
I jumped into the sea, trying to swim in vain.
Into the sea the torturous waves come and go, pushing me deeper below.
I could not help tasting the water,
It was not the taste I know anymore, but that of mud.
Even sometimes of blood.
Soon the sea of illusion gave my heart a change of conclusion.
How could that hope so easily fall?
Such a thought was not joyful at all!
