Fate In Red Dust

Solo stars,
Spread across the unbound universe,
Where age is totally forgotten,
In space and time.

Drifting in the world of red dust,
Souls keep searching on and on;
Despite loneliness
And despair.

Perhaps it is fate:
Life after life,
Year after year,
We wander through the seas of peoples,
Praying that we'll meet each other.

Tons of lonely faces pass by,
Did I miss you?
The one who stroke a chord in my heart,
Is she you?
The one who has made a painful scar on me and left,
How can she be you?

But I have a strong feeling
We'll meet one day.
At that moment,
We'll both hear a voice inside our hearts,
'Oh, you're finally here.'

However,
This will be in what life, what time, and what place?
Will we just rub our shoulders and pass by again?
Even if we stop and meet face to face,
Will you still recognize me,
The one that has been waiting and waiting
For you.

Fate,
Still exists in red dust,
Crosses between life and death.
