It Was A Good Time

twas was a good time when i was young
life was a ball when my life was fun..

one would say i still haven't changed
crossed adolescence but life got strange

i met her when she was sixteen, had something but i was scared
could have said but life became a nightmare

i completed my school thinkin here comes fun
but started off well it ended being dumb

the day came which i didnt know would come
she was somewhere but her call suddenly left me mum

i though this was the time, like winter comes and leaves u shined
i said what i couldnt earlier, she was there, she said yes making my day merrier...

although it was not i wanted to be, being little quick i messed up u see
coz the real surprise was left, the life shiner i was waiting came from no where

now i found the one i wanted but, my childhood crush was with which i fighted
the new one had no idea what was happenin, god forbid who made this love, really shokin

i chose the late one though, but wanting the earlier happy i compromised not saying no

they both now are happy including me, with my inside saying u are the culprit to be

am stuck thinkin it was a good time
but lifes never gonna be same like one would die blowing up a mine
opening eyes but showing no sign...
