Holding Hands
It was on an April evening, when as blind-dates we first met,
He gently took my hand in his, that moment I'll never forget,
In December, as husband and wife, down the aisle we walked, hand in hand,
Lovingly looking at each other, proudly showing that gold wedding band,
My Unforgotten Love
Love as I did that first tender caress,
True love that filled me with happiness,
I dare not think of my broken heart,
Of how we loved and had to part,
For Roberta
Our precious little angel came to us, a daughter, born October 20, 1942,
God chose us as your parents, and for us to give our unending love to you,
Many hearts were won, by those big blue eyes, and winning smile,
We were so happy to have you stay with us for just that little while,
