Joe Freeman Biography

I have always had a passion for fishing, writing and the Ocean. Once I was old enough I got a job on a fishing boat and have not looked back since. I have gone through many struggles in my life which will be revealed throughout the poems that I write. I love hip hop. To me it is poetry in motion. I have written a few songs and can hopefully convey them into a readable version as most of them are formed around an audible perspective. My grammer is not the best and neither is my spelling, but that will not hinder me from writing and sharing what I write. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I am sure I will enjoy some of yours.)

You'Ve Brought Out My Peninhand Side

It's funny how I fall in love so quick... well it's not really a fall, its more of a trip.

To be closer to the truth it's more of a skip cause' I don't really fall,
Before I'm down on the ground, I lean on my wall

That wall is my defense... my pride...my fear
It's tall, it's thick and i've had it for years

Many efforts of intrusion, but all attempts swept clear
But distracted one night, someone crept through the rear

I tried to stop it, but it was just too much
I thought it was you, and accused you as such

but a funny thing happened when I picked up a pen
The sensation had happened all over again

So now I'm Confused! ! ! My mind split into two
who is to blame for this feeling anew?

The answer is both, which you probably knew
I fell on the pen when I was trippin on you.
