My Friend

With my heart in an ocean of tears,
I find it hard to love,
You guide me to a place,
That will help with my sorrows,
Help me go on with confidence,
To get me going in my new life,
And I will travel from place to place,
Just to find the special someone,
You told me to keep going,
To find the right person,
The one to love and to hold,
And I thank you for that,
You’re the kind of person who I would call my friend.
