We were born the same
But, something changed
We both partied
We both hit rock bottom
...

Sister, Sister magical Mister
I'm not playin' no games
Sister, sister too bad you missed her
Because when the hammer comes down

</>You're sweet smell
Dances on my senses
Like fresh cut roses
On your living room credenza
...

Sometimes it's hard to comprehend
People are easy to condescend
Talking up a storm is nothing out of the norm
Let's take a peep into the abyss
...

On these roads of broken dreams
Things aren't quite
Their not quite what they seem
...

For a longtime I've been livin' at the top of that hill
So long, that it's makin' me I'll
I cast my line toward a better way
But, all I get is, "who are you? , what'd ya say? "
...

why must I wait
I'm standing here, very patient
why must I wait
Where we all congregate

why must I wait
I'm standing here, very patient
why must I wait
Where we all congregate

My Little Big Brother

We were born the same
But, something changed
We both partied
We both hit rock bottom
But, I've moved on, he's unchanged

The problem we all bear
His presence we all fear
No one truly understands
Unless you share the same heart
Ever so close but, so far apart

I wept when I stared into his eyes
He's so far gone and so alone
Lost inside his dispair
Booze is his comfort
I hate that I care
I HATE that I care

He holds my face and says
'My BIG, Little Brother'
My big, little brother

As I hold back tears
I make my way home
Compared to the streets
Mine must seem like a SuperDome
