I Think I Might Hate You

I think I might hate you.
Certainly I do.
Everywhere I am,
so is my feeling of hate for you.

Slipping across my words
stutter through a sentence.
I can't even speak;
hatred holds my tongue.

I think I might hate you.
Yes, that explains that feeling.
The flipping of my stomach
a sure sign of hate.

Look! My eyes wander to you,
and when your eyes meet mine
I swallow a wad of hate.
Heavy as a rock, dropping to my stomach.

I think I might hate you.
Certainly I do.
Everywhere I am,
so is my feeling of hate for you.
