Dark clouds, high clouds, fluffy clouds, wispy clouds –
...
It is the times of unrest when God can work best within and through our lives.
- His power is so great
- His direction so right
- His love so pure
...
To walk each moment in the Spirit,
That mountaintop of perfect peace
Where love abides - pure and simple
Illuminating the path of His righteousness
...
Thank you Lord for the mountain top moments that make our heart sing.
Thank you also for those moments in the desert valley low,
a place of solitude with you our king.
It brings the healing that only your love could bestow.

We became friends in grade 6.
Since then life rolled on with all of it's slips.
Friendships anew and Oh the smiles,
...
In the end, it doesn't matter how well we have performed or what we have accomplished if we have fortified our hearts against love. He wants us to love and be loved. He wants us to grow up. For out of this wellspring of our soul flow all true caring and all meaningful work, all real worship and all sacrifice.
Our faith, hope, and love issue forth from this fount, a deep well.

In The Morning

The varying layers of clouds would not evade my attention.
Dark clouds, high clouds, fluffy clouds, wispy clouds –
The sky was a myriad of different formations.
Pervading through them all however,
was a diffuse gray form extending from earth to
Heaven and moving swiftly through the land –
It was amazing to watch!
And I could only reflect on the Spirit of God,
Moving swiftly across the earth,
Always present, filling all of space,
Not necessarily noticeable from within,
But ever active, moving with power and love.
'God is able to do immeasurably more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of, according to His power that is at work within us' Eph 4: 20
