Heart

I walked though a land
Barren and cold
Shadows lurked here and there
I saw scars upon the land
Some that will never be healed
I walked to the edge of this land
And saw before my eyes
a sea
A sea of ice
And so I walked though this sea
This sea of ice
Till I came upon a iron door
And in this door I saw
Misery and hate
And with a mighty push
I opened up the door
And what I saw
Took me to my knees
A image of a mother’s love
So tender and so dear
I did not know
How far I'd fallen
From the path of hope
For what I had been shown
Was a image of my
Heart.
