Dear Love:

It is with half a heat that I pin these words to page with prose a poem writ. Times waxing candle wanes. The flame flickering upon the walls are memory's spent with you. Our life like that of a mountain lake the year's waves lapping against the shore. Trails through the wooded surround our adventures some trodden well yet most untouched. O much a boil of life seeing our children at play. I must tell you I am jealous. Every morning while sleep still touches your face as your breathe rolls over my chest that moment is mine and no other's. My spindly arms seem a week earthly tether to hold such an angel upon an eiderdown feathered pillow. (En passant) you captured me though you didn't know it. Chess being a game as is also said of love my queen you will forever be. Untill we are together again my heart shall be twain the better half you carry there within your own chest.
