The Storm Above.

Like a ice storm,
Sadness suffocates him like water.
Bullets are going through his heart,
While fire melts the ice around.
The moon hides behind the hills
Lighting shocks him like eels,
Breaking the seal
That hid the truth.
While lies run out of her mouth like water,
And roses turn black.
As the butterflies fall from the sky.
Red stains the puddles of rain,
As tears run down like razor blades.
Hate craves into his heart
While he lays in the field of black roses
Unable to get back up.
As the sunlight glitters behind the storm,
And her lies are as sharp as a thousand blades.
