the falsehood that you live in
because you cant face your demons
you prefer to tear the worlds of those you say you love
rended in two, too many cold bodies left in the wake thereof

ou paint a pretty picture of something you call your own
but your not the only victim of a life thats set in stone
a love so strong
and a light to hold on

as she walks through the room,
every head turns,
here she is again,
coming back for more,
...
this face, was never mine
the mirror, won't show me on the inside
twitching, cold, alone, and afraid to die
I look into my eyes.

there are some things in this life
i build up to the point of anticipation,
then i fall so hard when i am faced
with the fact that there is no reciprocation.

the scales are mine, i weigh and measure,
this heart i wont let hold me down,
its all a line of pain and pleasure,
for now i wear this thorny crown.

we are the tried, the tested, the true.
but its not you, but its not you.
we will not die, we grow in size, we grow inside
experience's change us, burn and rearrange us.

there are angels that will guide you
but first you must let them find you
or the forsaken will forever bind you if you choose to guide yourself
