Daddy, Dont Leave!

Daddy don't leave,
You were always the better half of me.
I still can't believe,
Your not here looking out for me.

This is from my heart,
Not from my brain.
Dad, without you,
I just can't cope with the pain.

I wish I had your address,
So I could send you this.
not even a phone number,
Too hear your voice would be bliss!

Since you have been gone,
My soul has cried silent tears.
I've hidden my feelings for so long,
Its been six years!

I know you didn't do it,
And I hope you understand.
I testified against you,
'Cause I was lead by the wrong hand.

I hope I'll see you soon.
The only thing that keeps me sane is knowing we gaze at the same moon...
