Judith Zander

Judith Zander Poems

once again new waves are carried out
in quick
water colors curling
the boats of heaven of remote
...

we imagined the weather
would hold up the rain
lets itself daily
with its sedan carried
...

those are
the storms the blind
ends of winter the
equinox pushes
...

from the burning
scissor-steps racing
peels out tetrapod fly
to the edges of breath
...

at the end of august advently items
become conceivable again wool something
on your skin beside
white herds of drought summer
...

once upon a time it was so late we
arrived at an interim time and contact
broke off in the pause of space
...

my hand is a dead fish in the morning
it drifts on your chest
sideways the night made
a heron take wing
...

keep wake dusk behind double
windows the hill and I
ghost mirror alloyed wit
in wit snowskin and list
...

to the left my mother grew up
her mother and father
die off root and branch
...
