Julia Ann Miller Poems

Hands to heart.
Feel the beat,
like a dancer before
She moves her feet.

Hands to heart.
Feel the beat,
like a dancer before
She moves her feet.

Arms out, hands joined
The stretch above;
Pause and gaze
The length of love

Fold to floor
The swan to lake,
Fingers find toes
For goodness sakes.

Step back
Knee down;
Head up
Lose frown.

Front foot back
Use the table.
Down face dog
At least you're able

Down to floor
Knees, feet heart
Mind is peeling
Thoughts apart.

Down faced dog
Just like before
But different now
Just like before.

One step forward
Like man on moon
The other joins
Don't fear marooned
