Noah's High Speed Train

The rains have come over the Thames valley in a way that rains
have never come before – and Oxford is almost an island. The
line from London is washed away. The country is all water like a
big lake and it was all I could do to get out here today – the train
was anyway late and I saw water away and away on both sides of
the rails. If this goes on much longer I shall build an ark and put
into it all manner of living beasts for fear the race would fail.
